2nd time deadlifting in about a year.
Managed to pull 120kg for 5 reps and 2 sets (already done a set of 110kg for 8 before this).
The second set was horrible so I decided to give it a third attempt to try correct my form. Better than before but I could still fix it slightly.
More Chest Day /Tri work. Wanted to try adding more weight since I can do bodyweight for sets of 12-15reps. Here I did a set of 5 w/2 chains(44lbs total) and the a single rep with 4 chains(88lbs total). Killer doing these after decline bench.
Finished Chest Day by hitting tris (of course). Decided to try something new by chaining both cables together to press both stacks (200 each) for sets of 12 (pause and squeeze each rep). These got even better when I used the same rigging for overhead tri extensions.
Everyone has a different journey, but no one’s journey is an overnight trip. These pictures were taking two years apart with a lot of shit in between. I wouldn’t change anything about my life because it made me who I am. Whether you’re gaining weight, cutting weight or just trying to level out, understand it is a process. If you achieved the results you wanted overnight, then it wouldn’t be worth it. No matter the circumstances never forget to LIFT HARD, EAT WELL, and SQUAT PARALLEL! #tallmanfitness#trusttheprocess#gym#weights#transformationtuesday#getswole#repsforjesus
