A little active rest today, doing some slacklining. If you haven't done it, it's a great pre-hab activity for your lower body, and helps build balance like nothing else.
I grew up think this was an activity for "hippies" or "granolas" and held disdain for it. Like a lot in my life, I learned to cast off my preconceived notions and give this kind of thing a try. It's great, and effective.

That's what this journey is about. Pull everything together and put it to use. And try things before you judge them. You might find something you love, or at least something that works in a way nothing else does. Whatever it takes to go from #strong to #stronger. #justdothings

Hey loves! I wanted to share with you all this salad I made for dinner 🍴 it was so good 😊 it was tilapia with cayenne and Trader Joe's EVB seasoning and salad with carrots, red bell peppers and @tessemaes poppyseed dressing. I then paired this with some yummy potatoes (see story)
Today was a much needed rest day because it was much needed for my body. I used the time to go to the pool and knock out school/college stuff. Don't be afraid of rest days y'all. I used to be and still am, but I take them anyways. They are much needed to continue growth πŸ’ͺ🏻 take the day to get stuff done that you normally wouldn't have time for & I promise you will feel so much better after! πŸ’™
