@robbie_manson winning time of 6.38.24 yesterday was the second fastest in the world in 2017. Only behind Robbies own World Record row in Poland and ahead of the World Championship winning time of 6.40.64 in the USA. The eight boat field was World class, it contained the current Olympic Champion, current World record holder, the 2017 elite World Double Champions and just for “shits and giggles” two 2017 World U23 Champions. We may get treated to this spectacle again in January and February , with it only getting more competitive. Lets hope that they all stay injury free and they have no close up encounters with car windscreens while cycling. Here Robbie is pictured in the last few strokes of the race yesterday
Good calm patient rowing for this rower. Listen at the flywheel and see how he can pick it up with good timing and can lever against it like he will do against the water with a good connection and see how the handle and the wheel acceleration speed is similar to on water rowing, it builds with leverage and good pick up and patience. The way the RP3 rowing machine is manufactured in the Netherlands and the flywheel makes this possible and the RP3 a unique feel and almost perfect simulation of what rowing well and efficiently on the water feels like @edinburghuniversityrowing
New toys in the DKG. @josharmstrong46 giving our new @rp3rowingusa a spin.
