Problems with being a Royal Blood tribute: learning two parts at once. We’ve finally seen footage of the title track How Did We Get So Dark played live, so we set about changing how we do the end of the song. It’s hard! #royalblood #tribute #tributeband #rehearsal #bandrehearsal #bandpractice #musicianproblems #outtake #bloopers #comedy #howdidwegetsodark

We wish we were still rocking out to @cagetheelephant at @caljamfest earlier this month! We provided the band risers for the 12-hour rock fest🤘🏻🎸 // 📸: @jesse_lee_fulton

Cal Jam was awesome. I got to see a couple bands I haven't heard of before, but they were pretty good. Circa Waves and The Struts, I hope to see them again in the future. Royal Blood, they were badass. Fuck you Liam Gallagher, douche pile of shit. And two of my favorite bands, Cage the Elephant and Queens of the Stone Age, they were amazing. And my number one favorite band, period! The Foo Fighters. Seeing them live for the first time was definitely an experience I'll never forget. As soon as Dave came out at the start of the show, it was so surreal. And when the whole band started playing Times Like These, that surreal feeling was intense! Then we got to see some surprise guests like Inara George from The Bird and the Bee, she sang back up vocals on a couple songs. And then Greg Kurstin came up on stage and did a little something on the keyboards. He is also from The Bird and the Bee, and he produced the Foo Fighters' Concrete and Gold album. Mosshart of the Kills came on stage, saxophone player Dave Koz joined on stage too. Rick Astley was there and Joe Perry. I really wish the Foos had played some songs from the Sonic Highways album and their Saint Cecilia EP... Maybe next year. Oh ya, if Cal Jam happens again next year, you can bet your ass I'm there! Anyways, I wonder who I will see next in concert...?
