What do YOU do the day after running 15.5 miles and 3,000 ft elevation?
I kick it with some friends and throw down 8 miles at a speed workout:) 2.6 miles warm up (It was so cold!)
10x 400 (RI 2:00)
2.6 miles cool down.
I was careful to pay attention to how my legs were feeling and pleasantly surprised at how good I felt. They weren't great times, but they didn't suck and were super even! My second favorite thing in running is Even Spilts (Negative Splits are the bomb;) )
Today was a complete rest day, so here's a picture from my first and only marathon so far! Literally one of the best days of my life, but the more I learn about marathoning and running post collegiately, the more I find myself hungry and unsatisfied with how that race went. I was so content with running a BQ at the time, but my goals are growing bigger and bigger. My ultimate dream in marathoning is to go sub 3 someday, which seems scary right now! What big scary running dreams do you have?!
Do you agree that everything is about trying over and over? Leave your opinion in comment. Today runnning quote: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No Matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”
