The moment before I told my epic cheer squad how fcked I felt at mile 18! Anyone who's spoken to me before or after will know that yesterday certainly did NOT go to plan. BUT instead of thinking about that I'm going to list all the things that were mint about @londonmarathon 2017.
1. I saw my amazing friends with their amazing signs FOUR times! As well as my awesome work mates who I actually heard this year on account of going 80% headphone free
2. People might think it's a bit wanky but the running community is just so beaut. Got so many lovely cheers from my WHRC ladies and even other runners I only know through the 'gram. EVERYONE who saw me and cheered, thank you.
3. While my race plan may have gone to pot I am definitely in better shape as a runner than last year. I'm walking, injury free today! MASSIVE thanks to @pumatraining#teamfaster trainer @jaycopley for finally getting my glutes to do some work.
4. Every race is a learning opportunity and while my big focus this year was on strength training, the next big thing is speed work. See you on the track... #londonmarathon
