For the first time all week I was able to get home before the sun started to set, so I got myself back on track with #Aaptiv#5kYourWay Exercise 10; a steady 2+ mile jog/run, followed by a 20 minute cool-down and stretch.
This workout focused on mechanics, technique and patience. Towards the end of the training, @meg_takacs asked us what we're running for. So I really thought about it. ♀️ I run to get outside and take in the beauty of our tiny little village. I run to stretch my mind and body. I run because I spend the rest of my day focusing on others. I run for those who can't and because just recently, I couldn't. I run for me.
Easy 5 miles + strides this morning. I've got my last big long run workout tomorrow morning and then @dualr and I are headed to the mountains to camp for the weekend ! The one thing I am looking forward to at the end of this training cycle is not getting up at 4 am for at least a week after race day. I'm so pooped . #nycmarathon#tcsnycmarathon#MovedMe : @dualr
600+ miles wearing the Ruhn Compression Shorts. We’re not messing around here...
“Moab 240 finished in around 85 hrs. The last of the Triple Crown. (3) 200+ mile races in 60 days.” -@ultralight007#badass
Workout done at home today. I have not been feeling like myself lately. I feel very depressed. Unhappy for no reason. Sad for no reason. Etc. why? I am not sure. I haven't had the energy to workout in days, and that sucks because my workouts help me with my anxiety. And when I mentally can't do it I feel lost. I haven't been able to focus on my schooling, I've missed assignments, etc. ♀️ No one may even notice these emotions because I put a smile on my face each day to try and convince myself that I feel better. I am trying to feel good again. Slowly but surely I can get there. ... enough of that! Time for me to do some STRETCHING
