The Reality of Running Blog Series Day 82:
Today @elsaisfit and I needed a rest day. We have gone 2 full weeks with running every day.
When I say rest, that means I will still walk, but no running today.

I ALMOST started to feel guilty and regret how much I enjoyed the weekend filled with birthday celebrations and Christmas parties. The old me would have gotten down on myself and felt like I needed to workout extra hard almost as if it was a punishment. Seriously?!? Thank goodness I caught myself!! I've worked HARD to make this journey all about balance, health, feeling good, progress, and NOT perfection. We had such a fun weekend with family and friends...one I do not regret one single bit! Sure I want to focus on my fitness and nutrition...but I also want to enjoy this time of year with all my heart! After a great speed workout, in my home, with my own trainer , I'm ready to take on the day!
Any more #morning#runs in the #woods and I'm turning into an elf 1.5 hours outside at an easy pace #slowandsteady
Didn't get very cold today, but it was only 3 degrees outside. Hopefully that means I've built #muscle and/or is a side effect of being on a #keto#diet?
