Got out for 4 recovery miles since Sundays half. I NEEDED this, just not to work the muscles, but for my mind and some needed mind therapy from all the stress since Saturday night. Didn't think I was gonna get this run in, but forced myself to do it first thing this a.m. before I did anything else today. It's the small victories this week that keeps me moving forward, been a stressful few days.

This week has been challenging to say the least... lack of sleep, lots of appointments, sick kids, recovering from the flu etc.

Today I got 3.5 miles in, which is the longest Iโ€™ve run in forever. Ha, I can say the longest run this year!! Winning! It didnโ€™t feel that great, but it was really nice to get moving again (although it was on the #treadmill ๐Ÿ™„).

Iโ€™m so thankful that the work work week is over, and I wholeheartedly welcome the weekend!!!

Mood before working out vs. mood after working out... Sometimes you have to take those feelings of stress, sadness and lack of motivation and JUST DO IT.
More than likely you will feel better after the workout and have a new outlook.
If you're wondering I do 3 sets and 12 reps of all exercises. However; you can alter the reps according to your goals.
Recording has made me realize I should really focus on form. I know it, but it seems to go downhill when I am fatigued.

Sometimes it's harder to get up after the run then it was to get it started. Running of stress the last couple days surprisingly did not help at all. I'm going to have to swim tonight to do the trick. Go to my santuary and just block out the world.
