My new year's resolution was to get back to doing the one thing that I did differently when I was happiest in my life: meditating. I'm pretty sure I've meditated more times in the first 52 days of 2018 than I did in all of 2017's entirety and I owe it all to the App Headspace. It's incredibly difficult to start a new habit. What people don't like to talk about is that, imo, it's even harder to once again start up a habit that you at one point had and have since given up on.
I cannot stress enough how amazing meditation is. There's a reason why many successful people meditate. A lot of people I talk to about meditation find it funny sitting still with your eyes closed or have a hard time getting into it. I think maybe they're intimidated by a new concept. If you're thinking about trying it out, check out the App. Headspace makes it very very easy for beginners to get into meditating. When I meditate I notice that I am more present, my mind is clearer and more focused, and I have more pleasant interactions with my loved ones as I'm in complete control of my emotions Here's to 300 more days of meditating in 2018!
