Day 3: Hottest autumn day in Sydney, it was 38 degrees! And because we had a late night last night, we started late this morning and was only out of our apartment at noon! Big mistake, coz we had planned to show @ashton.c96, who has never been to Sydney, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It was too hot to walk anywhere! Found our favorite ribs place - Hurricane’s Grill- which just opened at Circular Quay last year and had a really filling lunch there! Honey Ice Cream from Messina was a refreshingly good treat to beat the heat. Then, it’s off to @izzybello’s house for a dip in the pool and water slide fun for the kids! #PrincessDani#schoolholidayfun#sydney#downunder#march2018break#unswalumni#friendsandkidsfun
Spot the #BeforeAndAfter!
I’m a firm believer that kids learn best when they’re having fun, so I’m a big fan of play-based learning. I’ve been bringing the boys to KidsSTOP ever since my second-born, Onglet D could toddle! They especially love the The Big Dream Climber, the giant climbing structure that leads to the music room on the upper floor! There’s so much to do that even now I feel like we’ve barely covered all there is, and my photos (unfortunately!) don’t do justice to the place!
Catering to children from toddlers all the way to early primary (the infants are not left out and so you know I’ll definitely be bringing the baby along too, as soon as she’s ready to crawl and explore the “Small World” infant nest!), it’s a great space for keeping young minds happy and engaged, and one of my go-to recommendations when we have overseas guests with little ones. (Particularly when the weather is bad for outdoor sightseeing!) For as little as $45/annum, KidsSTOP membership gives your little one unlimited free admissions, including peak-days! No matter how many times you visit, they’ll always have something new to do as the onground activities are refreshed each month - for instance, on one memorable visit my boys learnt about water pollution and how it affects our marine life. They had the opportunity to colour sea animals that were then projected on an animated sea scape, and were thrilled to see their creations come to life!
