Feeling extremely thankful for my overall health - these past few weeks have reminded me of how lucky I am to just be healthy & alive. To be able to eat foods I like, to enjoy physical activity, to not have to be resting all the time. This recovery is just one chapter of my wellness journey & will feel so worth it when I'm 100% myself again

Day of Skincare Enhancing Products. Mineral Peptides Broad Spectrum SPF 30 . This is not your ordinary makeup powder. Infused with peptides, it supports skin health while providing sun protection. PLUS, light deflecting minerals reduce visible redness and even skin tone. Say goodbye to foundation! And to your plain ol’ powder while you are at it. My daily minimal makeup routine includes mineral peptides, a bit of blush or concealer (if needed), and mascara (or not...because Lash Boost ). It feels so good to be fresh faced and not under layers of makeup! **Can be purchased with or without a retractable anti-bacterial Kabuki brush (which is one of my stocking stuffers this year!)
Epsom salt is best known as a component of bath salts, but it offers a wide range of uses, from soothing sore muscles, benefiting health and improving a gardener’s crops to household cleaning, enhancing beauty and more. It was discovered in the 17th century, first distilled from the water of a bitter saline spring at Epsom, in Surrey, England.
The lack of this important nutrient in our bodies is due to a combination of issues, including over development of agricultural land that leaches essential minerals like magnesium and other trace elements from the soil, the overuse of prescription medications, the consumption of processed and fast foods, and more. All of these things take a toll, depleting our body of magnesium, which is one of the reasons Epsom salt can be an important part of improving one’s health.
There's a plethora of holidays coming up, which I know aren't always good things for some of us. Holidays can really take massive hits on our mental health as is, but it's even harder when people simply don't understand why we aren't happy. Holidays are draining, and that's okay to acknowledge that. Hopefully, you can find a little time to rest and have time to yourself. I personally relax by playing a playlist on my phone (it consists of Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Billy Idol, KISS, Poison, BVB, PTV, Falling in Reverse, P!atD, etc) and alternating between writing, coloring, and trying new makeup looks. Some people will meditate. Some pray. Some sleep. Some bake/cook. Some sit in nature. Some watch tv/Netflix. Some read. Some don't do anything; they will just sit or lay there. All of these are perfectly good things to do. I wish you the best of luck this holiday season and hope you have time to recuperate in between

T R U S T means we always have questions that we don’t have the answers to ~ Joyce Meyer
Found object on a morning meditation beach walk - seeing a question mark in the centre...
It reminded me of all the aspects of my life that I don’t know the answers to... which can be exciting as well as challenging, depending if there’s a bias to an outcome... But sometimes the most amazing gifts come out of not knowing the answer... allowing yourself to, is the key
