A lack of transparency results in distrust and a deep sense of insecurity.
Honesty and transparency make us feel vulnerable. These qualities are what make us human. Whether we’re craving deeper human connections or finding our true purpose in life, we have to be transparent with ourselves and with others.
What the hell is the mind? And who asked it to be so difficult and obstinate?
As I study the yoga sutras of Patanjali Muni as part of my yoga teacher training I am reflecting on my own practice (both physical and meditation) and how the steady practice gives a platform for transformation. I’ve been reading how yoga is about self reformation, self control, and self adjustment. Transforming selfishness into selflessness. From the minds perspective that’s a hard adjustment as the identification of I / ME and MINE is SO strong. The identification of the ego and the mind to this body and to the senses to enjoy. Letting go of the (false) identification of this body and its surroundings, and learning to just be happy in the self. From what I’ve been reading it’s to keep at the #practice...be #consistent , be #steady , and to do it with #detachement 🤪! I look forward to exploring this topic more as I continue my reading, and practice. #yogateachertraining#patanjaliyogasutras#yogastudent#goingdeep#stillthemind#monkeymind#yogini#selfrealisation#transformation#themind#stillness#longroadahead 🧘♀️
