Here is a before and after of the entry.
We painstakingly chipped out that pink tile and installed our handmade wood flooring that took us months to plank, sand, more sand, and install. Then we painted everything white and got rid of the arches.
I wanted more drama so I painted the stairwell charcoal. One afternoon I was talking to my mom about how badly I wanted an iron stair rail, but it’s just not going to happen for a while. She had the idea to paint the same charcoal over the blonde wood. Then finally, I needed a touch of #shiplap, of course. :) Our family has worked so hard as a team. My kids have learned so much. They’ve got a great dad to teach them! Thank you Matt for all you do.

Enjoying the challenge of replicating original cap molding for a home built in 1925. There was a significant amount of molding that had to be taken out due to restructuring and eliminating of interior walls. Some we were able to reuse and the rest (since it’s being painted) is easier and a better finish product to make new molding.

This little bathroom needs some love. Maybe some fun art and a functional shelf that can hold the kid's toothbrushes. I have been scrolling Etsy but nothing has popped out at me. Does anyone have any tips or sources I could check out? .
Good morning! I have shiplap on my brain again. I’m seriously thinking about shiplapping the whole master bedroom to go along with our master bath. Whatcha think? Yay or nay? ♀️ Sharing this pic for @smalltowngirllife for her #moveitupmonday tag. Hope y’all have a great morning!
