A former royal marine lost almost half of his hand in a horror motorised paramotoring accident.
F. L. was about to take off from a field when disaster struck, the throttle cable started pulling his hand back into the fast spinning propeller attached to his back. His left hand was left at the mercy of the full power blades for around 20 seconds before the 62-year-old managed to free himself.
