This weekend we went to Great Wolf Lodge and had a blast... Here's the thing about being a mom and getting into a bathing suit....
You ALWAYS have insecurities.
You take off your clothes and here you are standing in your bathing suit, pale as can be, thinking everyone is looking at you and rethinking that stuffed crust pizza you inhaled last weekend ♀️... And here’s the thing... I’m not perfect. I have stretch marks, wrinkly skin, my belly button doesn’t look the same, when I sit I have rollls in rolls . My son didn’t want to take this picture, my daughter was bouncing all over the place and I’m just hoping this picture turns out.
BUT the BEST part of this picture is the fact that I'm here with my kids. We just got done swimming and they couldn't have been happier.
They could CARE LESS about my stretch marks, my wrinkly skin, belly button or the fact that I was even worried about those things. They just wanted me to be with them.

The pictures no one ever posts on IG , ever
After finishing my workout today I got ready to snap a motivational picture. This should definitely not be my choice. It’s not very flattering at all. No big smile. No flexing. No enthusiasm. Totally against the culture of IG, perfection at all times
But it’s honest ! This picture accurately describes my motivation level today . I slept in, I had a late start, I procrastinated to get ready, I started making mental lists of all the things I needed to get done for the day; dishes, laundry, Costco run & day dreaming about my massage this afternoon. So frustrating
These are all distractions from what we should be doing, & that is putting ourselves first! Old habits will creep out. We have to reinforce it’s okay to put ourselves first. Some days will be easier than others. Everyday won’t be perfect but growth happens from struggle

Don’t let you mind fool you, you are stronger than you think!
Day 8 of 80 earlier this AM. Same moves as last week, but less reps, higher weights, stronger bands, a faster pace, and an extra round was added. I’m feeling stronger and more energized this week and the moves feel good. The moves definitely take getting used to. #lovingit
When I was a kid, I really didn’t like raw tomatoes. I thought I would grow out of it, but I didn’t! It’s more of a texture than a taste issue for me.
But, the health benefits of tomatoes are just too great to skip them altogether. They have a wealth of nutrients and vitamins, including lots of vitamin A, C, and vitamin K, as well as vitamins B6, folate, and thiamin. They are also a great source of potassium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, and copper!
So, I have found ways (mostly cooking) to eat them. Sometimes cooking even enhances some of their benefits.
The only kinds I really eat raw are the small, beautiful and sweet cherry tomatoes. I toss them on eggs, make pico de gallo and occasionally even eat them plain!

Things you should know
Slept for about 6 hours (broken up to feed baby girl)
Baby girl cried/cussed most of the day today (maybe teething), so she was not impressed that I put her down for this ♀️ 40 min "Cardio Core" workout from our NEW program on the streaming site I use. Pushed Play at 12:10pm today so had my preworkout meal, and chugged some "mom crack" before starting
I modified several of the ab moves cause my strength just isn't there yet but it all got done
Going into Week 2 of a brand new program feeling AWESOME!
My group is feeling AWESOME!
My husband is feeling AWESOME!
My coaches are feeling AWESOME!
My kids watching us being healthy is AWESOME!
