#5thSet AMRAP 280x15 (cut off because I’m slow af). My lower back hasn’t been 100% because my osteoarthritis has been acting up he last 2-3 days from work (I’ll basically have good days and bad days for the rest of my life 🤷🏽‍♀️), but clearly strength isn’t an issue, just my god damn wind gave out, per usual.

I was supposed to work with 300 or 305, but figured 280 felt safer for an AMRAP. Worked on sumo off the floor after this & it felt fucking great on my back 🤔 Not mad at today at all 🤗

This was Sunday, gritting my teeth and powering through what turned out to be a solid lifting session after probably the longest weekend of work this year.
I always knew December would be hard, and I've had to stop being so stubborn and dial down the intensity for these few weeks. Progress will be slower but it's better than no progress and I'll just have to keep telling myself that until things calm down in January 😫💪✌️

#BackSquats. A rather scary/hairy 😭3 x 87.5kg at 54.5kg bodyweight. I haven’t done any 1RM testing for about two years now (it’s not necessary if it doesn’t contribute towards your goals). My last 1RM was in 2015 at 90kg. I reckon I have 100kg in me now.
Overall a good session, considering I had a headache for most of the day. Lifted more in most exercises. One week off really doesn’t make you lose your gains.
