#5thSet AMRAP 280x15 (cut off because I’m slow af). My lower back hasn’t been 100% because my osteoarthritis has been acting up he last 2-3 days from work (I’ll basically have good days and bad days for the rest of my life ♀️), but clearly strength isn’t an issue, just my god damn wind gave out, per usual.
I was supposed to work with 300 or 305, but figured 280 felt safer for an AMRAP. Worked on sumo off the floor after this & it felt fucking great on my back Not mad at today at all
Considering a well-planned warm-up has the potential to not only prepare you physically and mentally but also possess the ability to reduce the likelihood of injury and improve performance .
The fundamentals of warming up:
Although a 5 minute run/ bike ride will get the blood flowing, heart pumping and increase core temperature it does not adequately prepare the body for the functional movement patterns it will experience
