I’d say it again that I’m proud to be a raw feeder. After losing Nucky, I’ve been determined to find out what went wrong. I wonder all the time if I had failed him. I definitely no longer trust many pet brands... not even the vet. Question everything!! Ever since switching to raw, Eli rarely ever suffers from conditions that commonly plague bulldog breeds (allergies, GI issues, yeast infections, etc). If you love your dogs (especially if you have a bully breed), please look into feeding them raw or at least, freeze-dried raw food. A balanced meal with fresh, high quality protein is key. Dogs are not born to eat processed, chemically treated foods. Fillers are awful! Don’t you ever wonder why a bag of dry kibble has such a long expiration date? Would you eat something that can sit out at room temperature and not spoil for that long? Did you also know that the MARS company owns certain vet hospitals AND many of the dog food brands (including brands sold at the vet)? It’s no wonder why some vets try to speak out against raw feeding! 🧐 SMUCKERS recently had to recall their dog food due to traces of a euthanasia drug in the food! Companies that advocate CANDY and other cancer-causing SUGAR products are also in control of our dogs’ food and vet care??? GROSS!! 🤮🤮🤮 Take back control of your dog’s life... don’t leave it in the hands of these deceitful companies! Anyways, today’s meal includes grass-fed beef 🥩, freeze-dried green-lipped mussels, turmeric paste, extra virgin coconut oil 🥥, krill oil , spirulina, mushroom powder , organic pumpkin , freeze-dried grass-fed lamb tripe , and a capsule of Gutsense probiotics
People often make the mistake of associating longevity with being healthy. This has nothing to do with living a long life. I don’t care that your dog ate cookies everyday and still lived to 21. Some dogs are lucky... same applies to humans. ♀️ I strive to eat healthy because it allows me to feel good inside my own body.. the same applies to my dogs. I try to do everything I can to give them a happy and healthy life... and if it results in them living a longer life, then all the better!
