A sign of friendship it is said in media. This russian orthodox church has been a lot in trouble before it was accepted financially, architecture wise and politically. Putin and Russia finally won the bid and payed €73 million for the land and another billion for the construction of the church. It is located within distance of the Eiffel Tower. I find it interesting and cool. It surely stands out in the neighborhood but I think all churches do that. It is the purpose of their design and architecture, to reveive attention.
When your daughter calls you from vacation and says emphatically, “Mom, you would LOVE it here!” I know it is the next place on my list for a mini vacation for Chris and I! Ouray, full of ice and waterfalls and hiking and just pure beauty! I borrowed one of @gabby_lopez12 pictures to share here and can’t wait to experience it myself! Anyone been???
One of the hardest things I’ve done in life is to step outside of my comfort zone, and take a chance. It’s definitely easier for me to be set in my ways, and do only what makes me comfortable.
But I’ve learned life experiences are what shape you as you continue to learn and grow as a person.
New experiences can inspire you to take paths that you never imagined, opening you up to a whole new world of possibilities.
If you never take a chance, you can never get to somewhere new.
Big risks are also important for making real progress and being fulfilled. Following a seemingly impossible dream takes a lot of courage, and starting over to do it takes even more. But whether you get there or not, you will be glad that you put everything that you had into trying. That in itself is worth it.
