Just under 3 months ago @primo.66 competed at the @powerliftingaustralia Junior/Masters Championships as a 66kg Sub-Junior. He failed his 3rd deadlift of 221.5kg which was an attempt to take the record. Since then he's gone up a weight class and his next comp will be in the 74's. Here he is with a 240kg deadlift...which is 7.5kg above the current Sub-Junior deadlift record set in 2015. He'll be looking to take that record before the end of this year. Now that's Coach Jacks
Last heavy deadlift day! Couple doubles at 615 and a single at 655. Technically a lifetime PR. CNS is fried for sure, so I’m shutting it down early. See how it impacts my meet. Now to deload next week then it’s show time. .
Backwards walking loaded carriesFor each style of loaded carry I do, I'll take a trip forwards then immediately backwards for the set. Been doing this method for a year. The results in terms of the carry over to other areas has been unreal. Strength takes times & patience.
