As a massive fan of the watermelon smash cake I was SUPER excited to get my hands on the new creation from @blackstarpastry being launched at the Night Noodle Markets, this beautiful Mango Sago cake.
I was worried. The watermelon smash cake is so good, I just wasn't sure this could compete (especially as someone who isn't that fussed about mangoes )
But, honestly, this cake was SENSATIONAL. There were actually no words during consumption other than 'mmm. omg. this is so good. mmm'.
Beautiful fresh sweet perfectly ripe mangoes on top of cream on top of coconut and lavender sago on top of a super light soft spicy gingerbread cake! With fresh little pops of blueberry and baby basil leaves on top too. This was heaven. And even though the markets are finished now, black star pastry have a bunch of cafes and you should go look them up and eat this cake. You're welcome. #blackstarpastry#nightnoodlemarkets#eattheworld
