Being a working Mom it can be tough to make time for ourselves. I will put washing Jude's dirty undies before washing my own hair sometimes (it's long enough to rock a pony tail now!). If I kept up this way for too long I would simply run out of steam. .
I do my best to practice what I preach and make time to focus on me. Squeaking in Yoga breaks, meditation moments, a little nap, a cup of tea, a walk with the dogs...these bring me back to my center and afford me more energy overall. The breaks don't always come when I want them, but they do consistently come when I NEED them. .
Learning to say no and walk away from situations that don't feel right has helped. When we say no to the things we don't love, or that throw us off balance, we create a little more space in our lives for the things that do. .

Getting outside can truly clear your head while boosting your immune system and elevating your sense of well-being.
