Happy saturday!✨ I hope everyone had a killer week and is ready to carry that on into the weekend! I wanted to talk a little bit about (what I feel) is an underrated bicep exercise- 21s (1st clip)💪🏻

How to do it: start with the weights in your hands, and 7 reps starting from the bottom stopping at about 90 degrees
🔅next you’re going to do 7 FULL reps (so that’s starting at the bottom and curling all the way to the top-using your full range of motion)
🔅next you’re going to do 7 more reps only working from 90 degrees to the top.
Do all 3 movements without stopping.

Why should you be doing these?: your bicep consists of 2️⃣muscles (the long head and short head) and a lot of the time, without realizing it. we’re not using our full range of motion when doing bicep curls. Doing 21s (also known as partial reps) hits both the long and short head of the bicep and in doing so can help kick-start growth in that muscle since it will be under constant tension while doing the exercise. It also fatigues the muscles so they work harder, which in turn
results in growth #gainz and more calories #burned for that slim, toned look👀

I usually do 21s as either a warmup at the very beginning of my workout or as a finisher at the very end, using light weight (I have 7.5 here), doing about 3-4 sets🏋️️‍♀️

After a long day of classes and studying, a cold coming on, and overall just feeling really tired and overwhelmed with my school work, all I needed was to sit in bed with a hot cup of tea 🍵, wrapped up in cozy blankets, bingeing on Riverdale on Netflix 💻 Am I gonna go to the gym tonight? Idk! I have only been twice this week but I have learned from experience that when I start feeling sick the best thing I can do is give myself a break and not push it. Allow yourselves the same luxuries, PLEASE 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Your goals will not sink away from taking it easy, in fact giving your body the break to recover from sickness and regain some energy after a long week is crucial to reaching your goals 👍🏼 know when to draw the line and honor your body ☺️

Fall break is finally here 🙌 Finished my law paper this morning and am gonna celebrate by going to a movie tonight! I have till next Monday with no school but I've got a lot of other stuff I need to get done so it will be busy (but it's better than studying haha).

As for today's workout, it was leg day and it was HARD 😥 My brother joined me which made it more fun but also WAY harder (he pushes me to the max haha). And quick physique update, I lost 4lbs this last week and I feel like I'm starting to really lean out which has been fun! I can't believe it but this is my last week on FST7 and I can't wait to share the progess with y'all next week 💪 .

Afternoon and happy Flexfriday everyone!! Today @rollsroyce09 joined me for my shoulder session today and it was a great session, except when I dropped a weight on my water bottle and it exploded everywhere 😐. The last set was the one in the pictures and it was 7 sets of fun! Got to the point where I couldn't feel my traps anymore 🤓, I said it before but I'll say it again I'm really liking this program so far and I am loving going heavy again. It was the heaviest I've gone in over a year and a half and I had ZERO pain or discomfort so I am thrilled! Tomorrow is bi's and tri's can't wait 😈😈. Hope yall have an awesome Friday or Saturday depending on where your from!!
