Some of my favorite warm up drills. -

🦖Band pull apart: make sure you’re bringing the band to your chest and not thrusting your rib cage to get your chest to the band. -

🦖good mornings: make sure to keep the back flat and don’t lock your knees. The movement should come from your hips not your back. Don’t think of it as a downward motion, instead focus on reaching your butt back and your head forward.

🦖lateral walks with a mini band: try not to twist or tilt as you move. You’ll notice I lean into my right more, I’m working on fixing that ☺️ what are some of your favorite warm ups? -

Yesterday I had issues standing up a 240lb snatch and today the legs bounce back feeling strong!!! 💪😁😉 #teamparagon is ready for this open!! Warm up- 3R of 10 cal bike and 15 strict press 65lb.
3 sets of 10 behind head snatch press 65lb

#strength warm up to 80% back #squat then complete a 4x4 increasing weight ( hit 385, 405, 420 shown 1st, 440x3 shown 2nd)

#metcon was 21-15-9 of double db squat cleans 50lb and hspu. This lil guy completely crushed me 😬(5:22)

#interval was 12 min amrap of 12 cal assault bike, 9 t2b, 30 second rest (15 second rest short of 10 full rounds)

#skill was 9 min partner amrap of P1: 20 lunges and double 80lb kb farmers carry 100 feet,
P2: 20 ghd sit-ups.

Happy #TransformationTuesday! If it weren’t for photos, I wouldn’t notice a difference in certain areas of my body. In the middle & right photos, I’m the same weight but my arms and legs are definitely more built now. I had cardio incorporated into my workouts a lot more when my goal was to shed weight then I limited it to 3 times a week. Cardio bores the crap out of me (unless it’s hiking) but it’s still an essential part of fitness 🤓
