Finally done with the new Rushdie novel “The Golden House”...not one of his best in my view, but nevertheless an excellent and humorous reflection on American society and the world at large, from the Obama years through to the age of Trump. And in true Rushdie style, plenty of references to mythology, pop culture, history, literature, politics and religion. My rating...3/5. #salmanrushdie#thegoldenhouse
