E claro que eu não ia perder a oportunidade de fazer uma sequênciazinha básica né? Hahah // Olympic weekend, Saturday I visited the gym Arthur Zanetti is training to learn more about his daily routine and Sunday I met the former gymnast Dave Durante, that still can perform lots of gymnastics movements and has an awesome didactic. How I practiced my toes to bar.
1. I started thinking about pushing the bar away from me , rather than pulling on it.
2. I concentrated on the kip back rather than the kip forward.
3. I practiced hanging leg lifts and kick outs for a long time.
4. The 1-to-1 kip practice has NEVER worked for me. Once you get 2 #TTB in a row, you will def get 3,4, and 5!
So I practiced 2-1-1.

▪️Transitioning grip from bottom of skill to top of Support is a tricky thing!
🔹Here is a better view (also in slo-mo) so you can see what happens during the transition phase for me.

🔹SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER:
1. thumbs around
2. As much of an “overgrip” as possible
3. Push down on bar to reset grip to Support position
4. Land in hollow continue pressing down on rig (notice the rig as at my thigh) - this will help you reset for your 2nd BMU
