Ok so this week hasn't been my greatest. Just being honest. I haven't worked out, continuing to take it easy on my knee. My nutrition was great the first few days but not as good the last couple. I haven't really been posting, as I am trying to be more mindful of being present in everyday life. Sooo anyway... pushing forward. Making goals for next week, to make it a better week. I miss my cardio workouts & yoga I was starting to incorporate into my routine. I will get back there. When I don't have enough time to plan my meals on the weekend, it hinders my week ahead. So that's my #1 goal to be better at that this weekend. I have a full weekend of chores before family & friends come in next weekend for an Oktoberfest party my in-laws put on every year. Super excited for that food Last year I didn't partake & brought my own salad- but this year it's going down. It's all about that balance I've learned more this year! always lessons to learn to get to my best self.

place bar over the middle of your foot
bend down & grab bar until shins meet the bar
feet shoulder width apart
grip right outside of knees
shoulders blades over bar
neck in line with spine
engage lats "packing the lats"- back and down
on the upward movement, push through feet and come to standing position in one fluid movement
slightly tuck the pelvic bone without hyper-extending the lower back
lower weight to floor

My last #tiuflexfriday before I become a Mrs! This past week has been pretty busy with last-minute wedding tasks but I have managed to keep up with my workouts and have tried my best to eat lean, clean, and green! This morning's booty call was #yogabooty with @katrinaascott and I was like crazy! I plan to take the next couple of days as rest days in order to fully enjoy my wedding and all of the festivities surrounding it, so getting a good sweat sesh in today felt fantastic! I cannot believe that tomorrow is the big day and I am filled with nerves and excitement! The next time I check in, I will be a married woman! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
Day 12: I did it. I struggled BUT I did it! Yeehaw! Cardio & leg day- complete! Sometimes it's not always easy to show up and make time for yourself but the feeling afterward is totally worth it. In the moment of struggle, remind yourself WHY you wanted to start this journey, why you pushed play on your workout & how much you are going to be better after this workout is done!
