@sundayriley Tidal - still love it as much as I did the first time I used it! I think the formula is fantastic because it's detail oriented: it has a ton of humectants, a whopping 1% of alpha-arbutin, zero silicones for "textural enhancement" - it does contain lauryl dimethicone which I believe is used as an emulsifier - and despite the presence of pearl powder does not look shimmery on the skin. I love the scent of aloe, cucumber, and the moderately viscous ~gel-to-serum~ consistency that doesn't ball up over an oil. There's a lot to like, and I think it's important to pay homage to the stuff we keep coming back to! ♂️ #skincare#sundayriley#tophcam#moisturizer#tidal#sephora#skincareblogger#productphotography
This was my face this morning and I have to say I was super happy with every aspect of it all day. @peetrivko Gentle Cleanser So lush and creamy and balancing and perfect(ly unscented so it's the kind of cleanser you can share with whomever may happen to be living in ur home
*Not pictured (not sure why) - @drdennisgross SpectraLite. Still in love and using daily. I'll fill ya in in the next video!! @maccosmetics Fix+ You'd have to pry this out of my cold dead hands @origins Mega Mushroom Mask ♂️ - if you like @glossier Moon Mask... @deciem The Ordinary. Caffeine Solution - will buy forever. @munskincare Aknari Serum - Lamp in photo is being powered by an oil-serum ♂️ But really it's quite strange, because your skin does seem to be so instantly calmer that it appears more radiant, but then the light just absorbs velvety smoothness into the surface of your skin. I love how toasty it smells @3labskincare "M" Cream - I fuckin love this shit, unapologetically. Be expecting the full story in an upcoming favorites video - sorry to delay, but school has started and I have to film at specific times again To put it briefly: The first time I tried it was on completely clean (drunk, admittedly) skin and nothing less or more. I woke up the next morning looking better than I have ever looked hungover before - in terms of skin, obviously everything else looked ruined. I've been using it every day since then and my skin feels really good, so far. Greedily watching Fixer Upper and doing homework Ps: hi @lisaeldridgemakeup love u #skincare#skincareroutine#skincareritual#greenbeauty#productphotography#skincareblog#skincareblogger#bblogger#tophcam
She knows Evening turned very Carrie with a courier (what had an amazing tan messenger bag - deets) delivery from @barneysny and @barneysman. They're excited to launch @vitabridusa and have given me an opportunity to try it. I've yet to explore powdered Vitamin C products - mainly because I find myself usually disinterested - but if Mercury retrograde has taught me anything, it's to open up my horizons and recognize that a number of you, my friends and followers, are interested and/or curious about them. So I'm letting opportunities into my life because you never know what something is like until you try it - and just knowing that you've experienced it is valuable enough to me to start going with the flow. I did some Good Genes last night so I want to give my skin a bit of time to reset before introducing something which I anticipate to be quite potent in both action and experience. Taking a chill pill with some gentle oils and sushi y'all. What's your fave @everyoutfitonsatc post? Feel free 2 send lol PS: I feel extreme joy knowing that SJP is in my home tbh ♂️ #tophcam@sarahjessicaparker#carriebradshaw#sexandthecity#skincareasart#skincareblog#barneysnewyork#barneysman#vitabridc12
"Hair like water, wavy like the sea / Hair like water, hittah we gon see" Since using @sachajuan Scalp Shampoo and Normalizing Conditioner, all I want to do is prance around my apartment wearing my bouncy, refreshed, glossy hair and nothing else while spitting @tommygenesis feat. @darkwaveduchess in celebration. My hair is thick, abundant, and coarse therefore hangs onto dirt and sebum the way I cling onto my sanity. I'm growing it out (I guess?) and the need to explore haircare that performs well led me to @sachajuan - which I ordered during @lizalaskabeauty's Cult Beauty discount code. I'm flipping shit because the Scalp Shampoo effectively cleanses my hair of any styling buildup without overdrying - though I will say I'll probably be grabbing the Normalizing Shampoo to alternate with because I'm getting a feeling I'll need something a bit milder for almost daily use. The real star in my eyes so far is the Normalizing Conditioner. It is, to date, the only shampoo I have found that conditions my hair (I'm aiming for that haircare commercial glossiness) without creating buildup on my hair that then makes it feel even thicker and even heavier. Because everything is so lightweight, I don't retain the volume and fullness that I'd get from, say, @livingproofinc PhD, but it means I can go in and use styling products to create the kind of lushness I want. I'm very impressed and I'll be sure to go into more detail in my next video, which I hope to film in a few days! I linked the song in my bio just in case ur curious lmao. PS: thanks to @sofieuh and @youthmachine for the inspo yesssss hunty love ya PPS: pinch to zoom gurrrrrl!!!!! #haircare#sachajuan#shampoo#conditioner#hair#abra#tommygenesis#cultbeauty#bbloggers#skincareblog#skincareasart#tophcam
@molindardparfums Jasmin is dirty, lit (as in, smothered and ablaze) with citronellol, blanketed with a vanilla towel fresh out of the dryer, and glued together with Dubble Bubble bubble gum - all with the saturation turned down to a whisper. It floats where it's sprayed and clings to the skin so as not to offend, but certainly to intrigue. It's a Jasmine I want to wear all the time because it makes me feel naked. This Jasmine takes me to places I can formulate, but have yet to experience as a memory. It was only $65 for 2.5 fl oz (75 mL) at an eau de parfum concentration, though don't be fooled in thinking that you won't need to reapply quite frequently if you wanna keep your birthday suit on. I feel like I made a great purchase from the lovely folks at @cobigelow - thanks for giving me the push @bellacacciatore_ love you #fragrance#molinard#molinardparfums#jasmin#jasmine#eaudeparfum#tophcam#purple
So far I have used the @batemanskincare Alpha Hydroxy Exfoliating Gel as a facial exfoliant (á la Drunk Elephant Babyfacial, The Ordinary. AHA 30% BHA 2%, etc.), a cuticle remover (fingers and toes) an elbow and knee roughness remover, a resurfacer for the back of my upper arms, an exfoliating foot gel that I apply a few minutes before the shower with my feet propped up, and a spot treatment for blemishes. It's likely only intended for use on the face, but I've found it to be highly effective for various other applications. It's an easy-to-spread gel that contains simply water, lactic acid, and xanthan gum. Lactic acid is easily my favorite AHA because it possesses anti-bacterial aaaand humectant qualities. Something to note about this product: it's strong. You don't realize how strong it is at first, but I'd absolutely recommend only leaving it on for a few minutes the first few times you use it. A patch test would be ideal! For me, it's too strong to use as a facial exfoliant on a regular basis, but its formulary simplicity and flexibility have allowed it to take on a role of do-all resurfacer. It's utilitarian af and I love it Thanks Bateman! Hope u love the power tools #batemanskincare#bateman#lacticacid#exfoliant#aha#powertools#gel#toolbox#skincareasart#skincareroutine#tophcam#skincareblogger
Skincare of the evening: a quick cleanse with @collosolofficiel - applied with a cotton pad then splashed off. Still trying to figure out which ways I enjoy using Eau de Lait the most, but so far it's been great for a quick (and fragrant) refresh. Plus it's so darn cute and French
A thorough coating of the @tatcha Violet-C mask - it's been a pleasure to use thus far, and certainly provides a soft radiance after rinsing off. The scent makes my mouth literally tingle and water. It's so delectably tangy!
A splash of @tataharperskincare Concentrated Brightening Essence - I really love this and I forget to talk about it. It's great for imparting an immediate radiance and smells like an herbal lemonade. Makes me happy
A thorough coating of @whyldskincare Youth Activating Elixir - this is such a normalizing and re-invigorating oil-serum. It's great to keep things at home base or snap them back into place when they aren't.
The @tula Revitalizing Eye Cream is still one of my favorites. It makes my eyes look more rested and softer if I use it consistently but we all know my attention span is far too short for that oops
Lastly, a delicate coating of @janescrivnerskincare OO Cream. She's perfect. thanks Jane
Proud new parent of a marimo moss ball c/o @algenist and the new #GeniusLiquidCollagen. He's so freaking adorable and I can't wait to watch him grow I've only used the treatment a handful of times, but each time it's done some thorough plumping of the skin. It's not the bouncy plump that I'd associate with a hyaluronic acid, though. It's a sturdier plump. Your skin doesn't bounce back as much as it resists movement in the first place. Kind of crazy The consistency is much different than I expected. It's got quite the viscosity to it, that's for sure. Not sticky or heavy, but the scent reminds me of deodorant aimed at pre-teen girls Not sure, but I don't notice any lingering fragrance so I'll take it. The thing that has caught my attention the most, though, is I almost feel like I can skip moisturizer afterwards. As if this has both hydrated (re: binding water to the skin) and locked it in. I've never really found that to be the case for any serums in the past, save for Caudalie's which are essentially very light-weight moisturizers most of the time. I'm going to continue to play, but color me intrigued. I feel excited about what Algenist is doing again, which makes me very happy. Thanks to the team there for sending such a fabulous PR box! #algenist#skincare#tophcam#collagen#serum#skincareblogger#skincareblog#sanfrancisco#sephora#algae
Beep beep! I really like the @munskincare Anarose toner but I'd be lying if I said initially, I didn't even bat an eye. I think I tried to put it in a box that it wasn't meant to be put in. Although it utilizes a spray nozzle, it's meant to be applied with a cotton pad or pressed into the skin. It threw me off for the first couple of weeks, but I've actually found that it pairs quite perfectly with a cotton pad. It has the slightest hint of a rose scent - you'd definitely be disappointed if you were expecting an aromatic rose bouquet. That's kind of the nice thing about it, though. It feels like the experience is more focused on the formula than how great it'll make your face smell. It's balancing-ly hydrating and it makes my skin feel softened and slightly smoother afterwards. Though there is willow bark, I wouldn't toss out my dedicated BHA's if you are prone to frequent congestion. I feel like the amount of exfoliation this provides is perfect for every day because it is in fact quite mild. Now we've come full circle: I tried to magnify each element of this toner that I've just described but it doesn't work. The balanced blend of all those elements is what makes it a perfect daily toner. You don't have to think about it when you use this which is great if you're lazy and/or hungover and hey we've all been there My MŪN referral link is in my bio but even if you choose not to go through it, Anarose is worth checking out if you just need something for errday Thanks for sharing it with me @munemiimai OH!!!!! Also!!!!! I forgot!!!!!! Munemi was kind enough to make a special lil discount for us - 15% off with the code TOPHCAM So enjoy! #munskin#skincare#tophcam#skincareblog#greenbeauty#skincareroutine#toner
