Did you know that as you enter your 30s, your body will slow down production of growth hormone and testosterone? This applies to both male and females. This means that if you haven't already started an exercise program, you are making it harder and harder to become fit as time goes on💭

You always hear the saying, "the beginning of the end" when referring to an elderly person who has fallen and most likely broken a bone and/or torn a ligament or tendon. This preventable injury leads to complications down the road that will ultimately be life threatening. The lack of mass on your body leaves you very vulnerable to injury, especially as you become older and your bones weaker. A person who has no physical activity in their lives can lose as much as 3-5% of their muscle mass per decade! Compared to someone who is very physically active and creating muscle mass, as opposed to losing it. The rate of increase in mass is probably even lower than the rate of loss of mass as you start to enter your 50's!

Combine a lack of muscle mass with osteoporosis (deterioration of density in the bones), and you have yourself an almost sure shot chance of ending up in a similar scenario.

‘Workouts of the day, done ✅!
I started with Zumba, completed the whole dvd minus one dance as the bloke just irritates me on that section 😂🙄 but by the end, I was dripping in so much sweat but I felt AMAZING.
I then went onto jess #squatlunge — my god it hurt me. #phase2 is NO JOKE so I’m sort of dreading #phase3 . No pain, no gain though, right? 🙌🏼 I’m feeling a lot better today than I was yesterday, so I pushed harder but can’t wait to get back to my full potential. I was only about 95% today but knew I could of give it more, but I still done it, that’s all that matters, the only workout that’s bad is the one you didn’t do!!! 💪🏻’
