Training update for those who are following - met a couple of amazing coaches down at @redsuncf when @tomyau & I were shooting in the area. So since then I’ve introduced a couple of conditioning sessions into my training regime led by @nicofitt & @akimhou.

Been pretty diligent with my rest days & went in to do my strength programme yesterday. Felt sooo good in my squats & bench... not sure if it was the fry up I cooked up that morning, or because I’m just stronger now (defo the latter 🤙). Absolutely smashed my bench PB from a dodgy rep at 52.5kg last Monday to 57.5kg today. Attempted 60kg but my triceps gave in.

I initially doubted myself in the squat without my lifters & powerlifting belt. But everything was just moving so smoothly & felt goooood so I did an extra single set at 115kg after my 110kg 1 sec iso hold (video sped up 1&3/4). Probably could have done 120kg but decided to hold back so I could finish my 20 total reps at 80kg... definitely found those harder than the singles 😖
