absolutely. I enjoyed a rest day yesterday and soon as I get off work going to get some back, chest, and arm workouts in. The days you don't want to do it, are the days you need it the most. Keep pushing forward!
Another long run (and a complete movie watched) in the bag for my 1/2 marathon training!! I keep surprising myself with how far I’ve come and what I’m able to accomplish. Although I’m still about 30 pounds heavier than any other time I’ve trained for a 1/2 - I actually feel stronger than I ever have and not just physically - But MENTALLY!!! And I have to give props to @aaptiv. I’ve been using this app for about 9 months and it’s brought me a long way from where I was last summer to today. Still working on the weight loss!! But dang I just finished 8 miles - 90 minutes of non stop running - my 5th workout this week - hard workouts - with strength training - and speed workouts!!!
