Castor oil was an old time favourite of mine unused it on my hair every day and in my scalp too. I'm not sure it helped with hair growth but surely coloured my hair. I am going to test it out on my lashes for the following weeks see what happens. I have heard so much goodie about Pomegranate Oil. This description was found on the @fushiwellbeing website: "Pomegranate seed oil is a highly prized oil that is nutrient rich oil and abundant with powerful anti oxidants and flavonoids that are essential for skin health. The oil contains ellagic acid, which is a potent antioxidant that effectively fights free radicals making it a superb anti aging fighter. Pomegranate Seed oil is also known to deeply nourish the outer epidermal layer which helps to boost skin tone, fade fines lines and revitalise the skin. Pomegranate seed oil is one of the most effective anti aging oils; it promotes health and elasticity of the skin, protects the skin and prevents skin damage. It is highly recommended for mature skin types, damaged or normal skin and dry impoverished skin."
This was an - after work - routine. Little bit of hydrate, deep cleansing, vit C which I skipped (oops ) in the morning....
Actually I threw the big C away as A, it was near to empty B, had a different smell...
Started using this delicate @jurlique oil... Why have I abandoned it in the first place , that I do not know....
One proud sheep that is! I started using retinol 1% on my chest and shoulder areas. Day 1 so no results nothing. It didn't sting at all. Should I be feeling anything at all? Anyway. I'll be using it and keep you updated.
· water-soluble formula
· rich in vitamins and antioxidants
· nourishes and hydrates
olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, pentylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, tocopherol, stearyl glycyrrhetinate, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil
I was convinced that this was smelling just like olive oil. Now looking at the ingredients list, it is basically olive oil 1st on the list (mildly comedogenic 1-2)
2nd ingredient is an excellent emollient. Very skin-replenishing as well as it resists moisture loss. It is derived from coconut oil. Interesting fact that
caprylic/capric triglyceride's comedogenic rating is 5!!
an emulsifier, a humectant
Then the famous ·phenoxyethanol·
Which we all learnt from @carolinehirons that "Phenoxyethanol, along with parabens, is not allowed to be in formulas at an amount higher than 1%. So you know that anything listed after either of those, is less than 1%..."
The followings are under 1%
Tocopherol - basically Vitamin E
My point is pretty obvious.
The full description on their site is quite cheesy to me, but ibunderstand if they are just simply very proud that it sells very well.
While the other ingredients aren't harmful this is not more than a water-soluble olive oil to me.
Its alright, it's working well but when there are nicer options or something you already like a lot this isn't an absolute must have in my opinion.
. Have a Good Skin!fm
Yass! I got this rich cream sample alongside my goals know what order ages ago and been "testing" here and there. At first I was like - meh.. But then I thought well it's better to use it up than just throw it away. I started using this after facial oils and I noticed that the 2 would absorb particularly well together. Payed a little bit more attention to it and I became a huge fan! I use oils every day so it's important to me that the cream I apply at night doesn't still hang around in the morning....
Simple yet effective aganst PIH marks! AA.R.AA
or Alpha Arbutin ~ Retinoid 2% ~ Academic Acid
I must confess again. Quicker results with these than BHA +Niacin on their own.
I have been very consistent in the mornings too which I am extra proud of myself and sure it helps a lot. I am getting there making this a "new habit" once and for all. I noticed I'm more excited each day than thinking ah..."I gotta do my face" @skincareuncovered update: I'm still really loving this routine
Good Night fm (for some unholy reasons I forget to include my cleansing routine like 90% of the time I'm sorry.... It's there. It's the Caudalie ( I bet you some wicked fairy refills it every day..) on the relaxing days and the NIOD SS on working days)
Tonight's PM routine! Stage 1. @skinminimalist since I've started these stages I saw huge improvements. Especially after the Alpha Arbutin+Azealic+Retinoid 2% ! Thank you for the support. (is the order correct then?)
Yes yes I am already liking the NIOD SS a lot! Smell, texture, afterfeel.
That was a side note.
I am fighting with these post-breakout marks in 3 stages in my PM routine.
