ABOUT THE BRAND: for centuries, the Uma estate has produced organic oils for the beauty industry. When founder Shrankhla Holecek moved from India to the US, she soon found the millenia-old rituals of Ayurveda she grew up with to be misappropriated. She then decided to create a brand that would honor her cultural and familial heritage. Uma Oil's specificity is that all of the botanicals are grown on their 100 acre estate.
Have you tried this mask, or other Uma products? If you feel like it, I'd love to hear about your experience with this brand.
Monday's spotlight is on @umaoils. Small, but mighty their Deeply Clarifying Blemish Spot Treatment is chock full of blemish fighting ingredients like tea tree oil while offering a nourishing base of grapeseed oil imbued with some lavender. Rescue kit FTW. #discovertruebeauty

Jordan Samuel Skin The After Show Balm Cleanser 》 I'm on the fence about whether this is something I'll repurchase or not. I love my Emma Hardie, and pretty much compare every balm cleanser I use to it. I feel like JSS is kind of known for his effective, no-fuss ingredients (not a bad thing). You definitely won't be having an aromatherapy experience with this balm, but I knew that going in. What you will get is a very effective, gentle product. I like that I can rinse this away without a cloth. As much as I love my plush cloths, I try to cut back on using them in the winter to give my skin a break. All in all, I feel like this is a nice cleanser - I just haven't made up my mind if it warrants repurchasing for myself.

There comes a time in every woman’s life when her 5x mirror goes from friendly informant to abusive antagonist. Too bad we can’t sage smudge bad skin. But we *can* use the luxe products I wrote about for @Bergdorfs magazine. Check out their new Beauty Lab. Your skin will look so suspiciously good, your dermatologist will ask what you’ve been doing.
