Presenting the RAWsome Baklava Bite. These are my nutty, citrussy, syrupy-sweet take on the traditional Turkish favourite.
I've lightly toasted pecans, walnuts and pistschios and blended with apricots, orange blossom and rosewater, and added lemon and orange zest to give a lil kick to the moreish honeyed crunch. I've been plotting these lil badboys for ages and can't wait to find out what you think.
Sadly those that tell us to respect their choice to "eat whatever they want in peace" don't seem to realize that they are not the victims here. The animals pay the ultimate price with THEIR very lives, as well as the planet we all share. So no, I won't respect your choice to eat WHOMEVER you want in "peace". I speak up because I respect the victims of those choices, their will to live free from harm... and would love to see my kids/our youth have a descent planet to live on down the road.

This tasted so good with rice Pak Choy, peppers, asparagus, cashew nuts with onions, turmeric, varies herbs, masala and tomato puree. “I’ve always just loved animals and you just start making the connection between what you’re eating and what happens to these poor animals and once you start making those connections and realizing the truth behind what you’re eating, it just, there wasn’t any other option for me.” -
