I actually added way more dressing after the pic was taken (I thought it’d look cute but really, i prefer the no-dressing pic you can see more the ingredients 🤔 lololol #firstworldproblem!!) DRESSINGS !! Lets talk about them ! Often we say salads are as unhealthy as other things because of the dressing, and that you should always take it on the side! While this is true in most restaurants or take outs, dressings can actually be made super healthy and delicious and I believe they encourage you to eat way more salads because it’s enjoyable!! 🌿👌🏽😛 The key is: keep ingredients natural, unprocessed, minimise oil. A bit of oil is fine, but don’t drop 4tbsp !
I aim eating a big salad everyday and it’s most of the time my lunch because it makes me feel full but not stuffed ! I also make sure to include key ingredients : carbs, healthy fats, protein (which can be part of the carb/fat, ex quinoa, nuts etc!!) Joining #21earthydays full force!! who is too ?
✨ For this salad I used :
3/4 head of fresh lettuce
Steamed Potatoes 🥔
Cucumber 🥒(i know, not in season but .. crav !!!)
Buckwheat (super duper good)
Parsley
Sunflower Sprouts 🌻(good for guts!!)
Avocado 🥑(how not!)
Peanuts
Dressing :
Small handful raw cashew
Half remaining cucumber
Handful cilantro
half lemon juice
1 tsp ACV
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp natural soy yoghurt
BLEND, pour, mix and devour !!! 😁🤪✨
