The truth is......I WING IT a lot ♀️
I’m an unorganized, fly by the seat of my pants, hot mess of a mom. (Trust me, those that know me, won’t argue this ) But here’s the thing, these qualities are part of the reason why I feel like I’ve jumped into things that have offered me some of the most amazing experiences and opportunities in my life today.
You don’t have to step up to the plate with it all figured out, you just have to step up... #TGIF#HustleGameStrong#WakeupandGrind#Whatwillyoudowithyour24hours#Beyourownchange
Adding Seal Rows into my workouts have been a game changer! Here are a few benefits of choosing the Seal Row over a regular bent over Row:
-Youre placing 100% of your focus on your lats and mid back by being elevated off of the ground. -Lying face down creates a neutral spine -Being chest supported won’t allow you to cheat the exercise and use extra momentum coming from your legs and eliminates any low back.
Come try out this unique piece at my gym @outliftathletics. You won’t find this at most gyms so head down to @outliftathletics in East Setauket, Long Island.

The Passion Myth: Alright friends, it’s been a year and a half since my divorce which means it’s been a year and a half of me following my “passion.” Why is passion in quotation marks? I’m glad you asked. There’s a big trend right now of people talking about passion, purpose and envisioning your success. It feels really good to hear this stuff because in the moment it’s inspiring and motivating. But what I learned over the last year and a half is that it’s also a touch of the “feel goods”, also known as bullshit. I manifested and maintained an attitude of passion and purpose for over a year and a half and you know what I realized? Passion, purpose, vision, these do not replace the miserable, hard, mundane work required to succeed. Strategizing, learning and focusing day in and day out while putting in the hours and the failures, this is what leads to success. Following that “passion” stuff might get you to the olympics, but without the day in and day out grind of practicing, falling/failing, mastering your craft, you will only become a laughing stock for all those watching. The truth does not sound as pretty as passion, purpose or vision, but if you want something, figure out the best plan and work everyday to get it and don’t give up, ever! -
