It’s aaaaaaaadventure time with a small #tbt from last July when I spent my first Latin American winter. One day I took a ferry to Uruguay (1 hr trip from Buenos Aires) and I arrived to a small, adorable and cute city called Colonia. Fought by the Portuguese and Spanish governments for a long time, made things a little bit difficult over there. #funfacts:
1.There was a street packed up with prostitutes, people would walk by, and since a lot of the viewers were married they’d only look and sigh. That’s the reason why the streat is called “Calle de los Suspiros” (in English: Street of Sighs).
2. Portuguese wanted to show the Spanish people that Colonia was a Portuguese colony, they wanted their buildings to be red painted so they used blood for that #howbowdah
