Free Mini Watercolors // People chose their favorite to take home today as I was making them at #gowestcraftfest. They double as business cards, but I love seeing people light up and tell me they have kept theirs in a special place in their wallet, office or home. I make, paint & write on every one and give em out as much as possible. I try to remember that the more I care about it, the more I need to give it to someone. YOU are a unique piece of art and I am so happy to homemake these in appreciation of you! Each one has taught me something about texture, color, beauty, acceptance, patience, color.. The nuances are what make us each so beautiful & you are worth every moment
"Proverbial Passage" was created over many sessions, with several layers of printmaking runs, overlaid

It could be the flavor, but I think it’s largely because I just love the color green and nothing more. I tend to run on pure impulse. That makes me sound as if I run through the streets flailing my arms around and screaming like a mad man, which I can assure you has only ever happened once or twice. No, by impulse, I simply mean that all things considered, I’ll skip the rational solution and instead, always follow my heart... (full story on doodlewash.com)
