Hier je suis tombé sur le poste de @imrsbcombs sur sa prise de poids et son envie de s'assumer telle qu'elle est désormais. Alors aujourd'hui je fais de même. Le 1er décembre 2015 j'ai été victime d'une chauffarde qui m'a roulé dessus, j'ai passé un mois et demi alité sans visite, sans amis, sans pouvoir bouger. Je n'avais que trois activités à pratiquer dormir manger et regarder la télé. Cette période m'a atteinte tant psychologiquement et moralement que physiquement. Certaines personnes trouvent mon accident comique et ne se gêne pas pour rigoler. NON JE NE TROUVE PAS ÇA DRÔLE! Cela m'a créé un traumatisme que je cache derrière le rire. Bref voici les photos avant et après ce fameux 1er décembre. J'ai commencé à 68 kg, le stress, les cauchemars, le tribunal, les procédures légales et les problèmes familiaux ont poussé dans le vice de la malbouffe. On pourrait dire que c'est de la boulimie car à chaque moment que je n'arrive pas à gérer émotionnellement je mange... le problème c'est que mon corps n'est pas une machine de tri bien au contraire il stocke tout.
Me voilà 2 ans plus tard avec un peu moins de 20 kg de plus et des remarques blessantes et désobligeantes de ceux qui m'ont connu avant. La famille, les amis, les connaissances et même les personnes du passé qui développe une certaine haine ils se permettent de commenter sur ce que vous mangez et qui contacte même mes amis pour leur faire des remarques sur mon poids ne se rendent pas compte de ce qu'ils font et de l'impact que cela peut avoir sur la façon dont je me vois et dont je m'accepte ou pas.

En résumé j'ai grossi, j'en suis consciente pas la peine de le notifier encore et encore, j'apprends à m'accepter et m'aimer.

PS: j'ai un partenaire merveilleux qui trouve toujours les mots justes, me soutient et m'aime telle que je suis et quoi que je décide de faire. ❤️

Had a morning weigh-in of 175lbs today which is my heaviest weight since starting this bulk. Definitely noticing the fat gain (obviously - I’ve gained 18lbs so far), but still feeling good 💪🏻

Been a bit under the weather recently so today’s sessions felt slightly hampered in terms of performance, but still got my volume in which is the main thing.

The plan for December is to just kind of coast through without getting too fat (I’ll try my best). Basically loosely tracking on days I know I can exercise good diligence and aiming for a slight deficit and then on days where social events are planned just rolling with the punches and letting whatever will be, be 😝

Hit some good trap-bar deadlift PBs last week which I uploaded to insta, aside from that training is pretty standard. At a bit of a standstill with OHP which is annoying but it feels like one of them “plateaus” that will be short-lived - aka with a bit of consistency and effort I’ll blast right through it✅

Tbh swipe because I’m beyond proud of myself, but also TW so be cautious.
The fall of 2015, I was actively starving myself whenever I had the “capability” and “willpower” to do so. My concerns were not the amazing relationship I had just entered, nor were they what my Halloween costume would be that year. It was “I’m still not thin enough.”
In February 2016 I went dress shopping for junior prom. (This was not the dress I picked btw.) Looking back, I don’t understand why I couldn’t see that I didn’t need to drop anymore weight.
Summer of 2016 I joined marching band, meaning each week I was getting 5-6 hours of physical activity ON TOP of the 50+ minutes, 6 Days a week exercise I was already doing. I would often not eat on days I had 2 hour practices. December 2016, about a year ago, I got nominated for homecoming. More dress shopping. (Again, not the dress I picked.) I almost didn’t even want to take part in the event, because I was terrified that whatever dress I bought, I would still look too chubby. Homecoming night, my friend told me to eat a cheeseburger and I laughed it off, not believing anything was even wrong. This was the month that began the nearly 11 months of near-constant binging and purging that brought me to a lower point than I’d ever been. How I’ve pulled myself out of that hell so fast is baffling to me. But I have b/p’d no more than once or twice IN A MONTH. And that is something I’m really damn proud of myself for.
I have wasted a third of my life being ashamed of my appearance. Every big memory — both proms, homecoming, graduation — were tainted with my embarrassment of how I looked. And I refuse to let this continue. My body has gotten bigger in places, and I’m trying my hardest to love that. I’m going to get to a point where I’m 100% recovered, because that’s what will make me happy. Not weight loss, but loving myself for the first time in my life. And one day I truly will. It’s really scary toshow myself on this account, but I feel I need to.
