What are you bringing into summer from last season that needs to go? As we come into the warmer months, now is the perfect time to assess your wardrobe. Put all your heavy winter gear and low use items into storage or somewhere out of sight in your wardrobe so all you're left with are your functional summer pieces. And now have a look at those - do you still love them? Do they still fit/flatter/feel good? Did you buy things last year that were almost good enough or just average but you tolerated wearing them because you had nothing else (or didn't know how to find what you wanted)? Yep so do most of my clients. So get ruthless now before it gets hot so you've got time to find what you need. Write down the pieces and styles you'd love to wear this summer and then go find those in the stores. We where your wardrobe gaps are and also write them down. No summer shoes? No swimmers? No lightweight maxi dresses? No tailored shorts? No sexy going out options for 40deg weather? Welcome to the club. August/September is the month where I get the most enquiries from panicked women who have just realised they can't wear jumpers, boots and jeans through the next 6 months. So then what? Don't stress, the solutions are simple if you know what you're doing and what you need. I'll be stating my summer buying strategy this week so stay tuned. Or if you prefer to outsource it - get in touch and we can do it together in a fraction of the time and without any of the frustration, stressor anxiety! Woohooo! Hello summer! #summerstyle#wardrobeready
The first part of my morning routine is sitting down for 10 min and either meditate or 'think passively' in which I will let myself think about anything that comes up without forcing or restricting. After that I write down a few sentences, really just anything I think is important at that time. I snap a picture of that page and file it on my phone. Why not make a note in my phone? There some magic in writing with ink on a blank piece of paper... @lewishowes#greatnesschallenge#day3
