Tired af but love the feeling of it after. My love goes out to @peanut_monkey for pushing hard to finish those fkn burpees! Monkey is like a feather floating in the air doing those bar facing jumping over burpees. I mean I'm just going down and she's already jumping over.... who the F does that? Lol.... my heart jumped out of my chest at that moment.... overall, great workout.
Pause squats are one of my favorite squat variations
• Focuses on coming out of the bottom (the hole) of a squat/clean/snatch
• Requires core stability to maintain an upright position during the pause at the bottom
• Increased difficulty since the stretch reflex cannot be used (the bounce on the descent of a normal squat)
• Practice hitting depth in your squat
Use submaximal weights when performing these and focus on technique
