❤️I love Landmine presses for a bunch of different reasons:
❇️They look badass 😏
❇️Great for anyone with overhead mobility problems because you Press at more of an angle
❇️Less pressure on your back than standard overhead press
❇️Requires your core, upper and most of your upper to work
❇️And a few other reasons too

Credit to @phillykinsella who originally brought the Landmine to prominence in @tpfacademy , he used to shove a barbell into a mat which was wedged into a corner of the room so even if you don’t have a landmine you can make this happen.

The pick up is nice & safe & the only movement is from my arm, a little forward lean into the press at the top is ok too.

First demo I’m throwing my hips into it making it a push/kipping/provocative press...
Second I’m arching my back & not creating enough core/glute tension.

Turkish Get-Ups 3x2 each arm, 16 kg kettlebell.

WOD: EOMOM for 10 minutes
Odd: 15 wall balls, 20 lbs
Even: 10 pull-ups
Cool down was a choice between a) 4 intervals of 25 calorie row b) 4 intervals of 20 calories assault bike or c) 4 intervals of 20 GHD sit-ups. All with 2 mins rest between intervals. Since I didn’t workout Monday I did b & c.
