My Cuphead mask was paper maché over a yoga ball, fun foam, pipe insulation and Funoodles. It was a fun return to my favorite kind of Arts n' Crafts cosplay where I get to rummage around my house and see what materials I have. This really buoyed my spirits for the 2018 cosplay season!
Evening my Stars ! I just want to let you know that I'm about 95% done with my surprise cosplay! I'll reveal it sometime this week so be on the lookout for my post! Also be sure to check out my Insta stories and highlights for my 28 Days of Black Cosplay features!
In the meantime here's another photo of my Panne cosplay from Fire Emblem Awakening! I forgot to post this one! I'm hoping to do another FE cosplay sometime this year! Can't wait!! Photo taken by @aoisenko
Cosplay made and worn by me!
Okay, so here is how I made my REM re zero Morningstar. First I spray painted the main chain and handle , then I used acrylic gold paint to paint circles on the handle. After that I cut off the unnecessary chains and spikes off of the ball. Once the unnecessary chains and spikes were off I filled in the holes with hot glue and created spikes out of EVA foam. After creating the spikes out of the EVA foam I hot glued them on strategically looking at multiple reference photos for placement. I spray painted the ball with EVA foam when that was done and did not worry about Plasti Dip because I was going to just use acrylic gold paint over it anyway. Then I made circles out of the gold acrylic paint around each Spike but on the bottom Spike I made a clover like shape , I also did one circle around the top part of the ball around where the chain was.
