Many of my long time followers remember the big sofa frame project I was working on last summer. Here’s a picture! This was for the #houseboatloveboat custom work for @sheilakramerinteriors - one of Sheila’s goals was maximal hidden storage for the houseboat, including drawers under the couch and in the dining room table. I hadn’t seen the couch in person with the upholstery in place until last week, and it all looks so great! Sheila, you’re killing it If you’re in the #bayarea.... hire her!
I built this kid’s counter tower about two years ago. It was one of the first things I built.
I didn’t know much about woodworking but I felt a great sense of accomplishment being able to build something for my son.
Now my daughter is at the age where she can use it. This house has shorter counters, so I shortened the legs 3 inches.
I was thinking of building a new one out of nicer wood and joinery, but since it’s going to get destroyed anyway I might just clean this one up or possibly stain it. #learningtower
Been juggling a bunch of projects at the same time lately and it feels good to be getting to the finish line on a few of them. These pretty Pecan shelves look good in their new home, ya? Thanks to @callie_dimsdale and @christophertennyson for the opportunity!
Yukon Live Edge
Picked up some beautiful live edge pine slabs and cookies from #rusticnorth today. Large slabs could be a great live edge dining room table or coffee table, and the cookies make great end tables. Message me if you're interested in having one of these made into your own custom live edge table.
