The line for dinner was long, but finally we had reached at the end. The aroma of daal -makhani, naan and paneer was already well inside our hearts. Ready for the transcendental experience of authentic and delicious Indian food, we grabbed our plates. The table had spoons, forks and napkins as well. I went ahead and grabbed them when all of a sudden.. “What are you doing bro?”, Caleb was watching me.
Then he came forward and pointed at the spoon in my plate. I smiled and happily put it back on the table. “You Only Diwali Once”, said Seth, laughing. “YODO”, I laughed as well.
“YODO”, Seth. “YODO”, Caleb.
Then we all had a big high-five, still laughing and a dinner afterwards that we ate with bare hands, squatting on the floor. Trust me, we stopped the curry flowing down our palms and also licked the ‘rasgulla’ off our fingers. That was a memorable evening and many more to come. These brothers are adorable! #happydiwali#YODO#diwaliawayfromhome#brothers
