14 km’s from the Maligne Lake Lodge, you will find Spirit Island. I have seen a million pictures of this place, but my dream to see it for myself finally came true a few weeks ago. Thank you @tourismjasper for making dreams come true!
I said I would never hike Lake O’Hara, but I hiked Lake O’Hara. Thank you @jamieout for making this happen and to @tannerwendellstewart for hiking 20 km on a recently broken ankle. Can you spot small Tanner on the other side of the lake?
As many of you know, I drank a lot of iced coffee this summer (so much I lost track of how many) and documented it on my side account @dollardrinkdave. I wasn’t paid or sponsored to do this, rather it was just an outlet to share my enjoyment of iced coffee and good deals. @mcdonaldscanada’s summer promotion is over, so I thought I’d share one of my favourite shots with one of the ice coffees I enjoyed.
For the past 3 years I have been to Moraine Lake 10 times to shoot sunrise, each time getting overcast conditions. Today was my 11th attempt and I saw light on the peaks! I haven’t haven’t had a chance to edit my photos from today, so here’s an old shot of Moraine on one of those overcast days. So thankful to share my experience today with everyone at @socalitycamp#socalitycamp
It’s hard to believe that @socalitycamp is finally here! It has been very impactful and encouraging to hear from all the great speakers that have shared their knowledge and experience so far. I’m very humbled to be in the presence of so many creative people as the same time Wish you could all be here to experience this!
This upcoming week is a big one as tour around Alberta and BC to visit some outdoor destinations that are brand new to me. This week is also @socalitycamp! We’ll chat more in a few days when I’m back in cell service
