"For me, being naked in nature isn't the brave part...it's holding on to that feeling of empowerment and self-love when I return to civilisation...that takes huge amount of courage and stamina." // @emmajoyreay in Cape Point, South Africa // #getyourassintonature
"I feel the most connected to nature when I am naked, and so does my dog, so we thought we would take in the view together, with our asses in nature." // @e.baum in Yosemite NP, CA // #getyourassintonature
"I've always believed that the human body is an art and modesty is just society's way of making us self conscious. I have always loved nature but to literally become one with nature and allow my self to be in my natural state in a natural place was the most satisfying experience and the most rewarding hike I've taken yet." // @jada_gabriel + @thepuertoricansavage // #getyourassintonature
"This particular night we walked down to the beach to catch the sunset, but instead the clouds rolled in.... clouds turned to thunder and lightning and the next thing you know the clothes came off and the waves came crashing to shore. We had an amazing ocean dip with Mother Nature providing the show." // @sandybicycle in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica // #getyourassintonature
“The Church says: the body is a sin.
Science says: the body is a machine.
Advertising says: The body is a business.
The Body says: I am a fiesta.”

"A lot of men and women today suffer from body image issues. For me, it's that my stomach is too big and my butt too small and I didn't look like the fitness models. My boyfriend is shorter and has broad shoulders instead of being tall and lean. The great thing about nature though is that it doesn't care what you look like. Tall, short, skinny, fat, curvy, hairy... Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beauty of this Earth and to release their inhibitions and be free as the air and environment they surround themselves in." // Tennessee // #getyourassintonature
"These boys are biking from Belgium to China, I met them at the beginning of my year of travels and have been inspired to adventure big ever since! I just stopped to visit them here and of course they inspired me to embrace all aspects of nature and making the most of each moment. Somehow I felt more connected to and a part of the beauty of the area when I was fully embracing my natural skin!" // @brudes at Iskanderkul Lake, Tajikistan // #getyourassintonature
"After days and days of scortching hot summer on a bike, cycling 75+ miles each day, you finally get a short, overcast, 30 mile ride on a bike trail....what else would you do?" // by @beehahn in Coeur d'Alene, ID // #getyourassintonature
"Flying across the ocean to get away from my life in Amsterdam was the most terrifying thing I have ever done. Ending up in Bozeman surrounded by lovely people, mountains, and nature, was everything I never knew I needed. Submerged in the majestic nature turned this city boy into a nature aficionado. Who would've thought it would feel so good to take my pants off in the middle of Yellowstone National Park." // @aramsterdam // #getyourassintonature
"Not very many people know this about me, but I have always had pretty strong body image issues. I tug at fat and poke at places where muscle should be. It made me miss out on things. Hiding in locker rooms, afraid to go swimming, afraid to fall in love. I have been on a 26 year journey to appreciate my body and all it can do. Taking this photo was petrifying for me. And posting it, well that's even harder. I'm no where close to completely loving my body. But this is a step and maybe one day I'll be at peace with it. Maybe the dark voice telling me I'm fat, ugly, and undeserving of love will finally drift away. Or maybe he'll drift in on occasion when I'm prepared to say 'stop saying that, Eric is a pretty cool guy, leave him alone.' But for right now, at this moment, I am free." // @ericthebenevolent // #getyourassintonature
"It feels empowering and gives every person a boost of confidence and self realization. Realizing that we are ourselves things of nature, collaborating with the mountains and trees and waterfalls, allows you to dive deeper into getting the most out of an experience in nature. #getyourassintonature removes the sexual objectification of our bodies and simply sees them as beautiful works of art, meant to enjoy our planet." // @anna_wendy15 // #getyourassintonature
"I've always loved the idea of pushing myself to be better and braver and experience new things. When I was a kid I was terrified of heights and mortified about my body. [I'm] proud of growth and being able to conquer fears." // @jrbsloy // #getyourassintonature
"It's amazing how we continue to add on layers, to cover up our bodies and to fit the mold that society has constructed.
Stripping down to my most raw and natural state, in the most beautiful place in the world is beyond liberating, I have never felt more whole.
May you continue to fire my passion for discovering the beauties of Mother Nature, with you I am as vulnerable and free as I am in this photo.
Get lost in nature and you will find yourself." // #getyourassintonature
