"Flying across the ocean to get away from my life in Amsterdam was the most terrifying thing I have ever done. Ending up in Bozeman surrounded by lovely people, mountains, and nature, was everything I never knew I needed. Submerged in the majestic nature turned this city boy into a nature aficionado. Who would've thought it would feel so good to take my pants off in the middle of Yellowstone National Park." // @aramsterdam // #getyourassintonature
"Not very many people know this about me, but I have always had pretty strong body image issues. I tug at fat and poke at places where muscle should be. It made me miss out on things. Hiding in locker rooms, afraid to go swimming, afraid to fall in love. I have been on a 26 year journey to appreciate my body and all it can do. Taking this photo was petrifying for me. And posting it, well that's even harder. I'm no where close to completely loving my body. But this is a step and maybe one day I'll be at peace with it. Maybe the dark voice telling me I'm fat, ugly, and undeserving of love will finally drift away. Or maybe he'll drift in on occasion when I'm prepared to say 'stop saying that, Eric is a pretty cool guy, leave him alone.' But for right now, at this moment, I am free." // @ericthebenevolent // #getyourassintonature
"It feels empowering and gives every person a boost of confidence and self realization. Realizing that we are ourselves things of nature, collaborating with the mountains and trees and waterfalls, allows you to dive deeper into getting the most out of an experience in nature. #getyourassintonature removes the sexual objectification of our bodies and simply sees them as beautiful works of art, meant to enjoy our planet." // @anna_wendy15 // #getyourassintonature
"I've always loved the idea of pushing myself to be better and braver and experience new things. When I was a kid I was terrified of heights and mortified about my body. [I'm] proud of growth and being able to conquer fears." // @jrbsloy // #getyourassintonature
"It's amazing how we continue to add on layers, to cover up our bodies and to fit the mold that society has constructed.
Stripping down to my most raw and natural state, in the most beautiful place in the world is beyond liberating, I have never felt more whole.
May you continue to fire my passion for discovering the beauties of Mother Nature, with you I am as vulnerable and free as I am in this photo.
Get lost in nature and you will find yourself." // #getyourassintonature
"Some sort of magic happens when you sit your bare bottom on a cold swing after a strenuous hike - whatever mountain you're trying to climb make sure when you make it to the top you look at how far you've come... Oh yea, and get naked while your at it " // @morgan.lavender // #getyourassintonature
"We couldn't resist the water even though we had no bathing suits or towels and the ice had only recently melted off the lake earlier that week." // @westhammock in New Liskeard, ON, Canada // #getyourassintonature
"We go into the desert to feel what it's like to be stripped bare by a landscape that is already so. It is the absence of softness in such an unfriendly place that encourages touch, immersion, and warm sunlight on skin." // @mackallphoto // #getyourassintonature
"Something about the sunshine in Oregon makes you want to be free. It's rare and it's special. Just like me. I think being comfortable with your body is so important, and anyone going against the norm by expressing themselves in a nude way has always been courageous." // @kaylaedelis by @johndware in Three Pools, Lyons, OR // #getyourassintonature
What a small world... we are happy to have a partner like @getnakedaustralia down in Australia. We started our pages around the same time and saw a similar amount of rapid growth (the whole world must be on the same page?). Both @getyourassintonature and @getnakedaustralia firmly believe in the confidence and empowerment getting naked can bring (especially among friends) and the connection that you feel to the world around you when get naked outside. Cheers to butts, cheers to Australians and cheers to all of you who believe in the same journey that we do. Let's make the world a more naked place, one ass photo at a time. // #getyourassintonature#getnakedaustralia
"Ever since I was a young boy, pizza has always been there for me. Through the good times and the bad, through thick and thin, for celebrations, and for those times where I just needed something to get me through they day. Eternal pizza love " // @konnorm // #getyourassintonature
"i see adventure as anything that awakens a passionate or carefree part of me. sometimes the adventure is breaking through the barriers that stand in the way of those feelings and sometimes the adventure is doing something that enhances them. adventure can be physical, educational, spiritual or emotional." // @a.m.brown // #getyourassintonature
"This grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never all dried at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal sunset, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."
// "#getyourassintonature is invigorating, inspiring, and stupidly liberating. My favorite part is getting fucking naked and down to my raw self as a tiny blip on the face of this massive and epic earth." // Jökulsárlón Lagoon, Iceland // #getyourassintonature
"Here's to new adventures, no matter how far, and getting out there and living life. My friend here is moving away from CA forever, so what better way to celebrate our friendship than #getyourassintonature. There is no better way to bond or be your true self than by being completely free and naked. This trip encouraged me to live life to the fullest, and to always do what makes you happy. Life is too short to do anything otherwise. So don't waste time, get out there now and #getyourassintonature" // #getyourassintonature
