Our new website is live! I’ve been having a difficult time weighing the cost of advertising against how much work we can actually take on. We’re thankful to not have to worry about where the jobs are coming from but are we unnecessarily spending money to attract work that we can’t take on? Is anyone else having a similar problem?
We subbed this job from another contractor that helped us out when we were building our name. If there’s one bit of advice that I can offer the new guys it’s that you should approach the bigger guys and see if you can get your hands on some sub work. Take what they give you and knock it out of the park. Work for less until you’re so busy that your reputation justifies charging more. We’re so lucky to have been given the opportunity.
