You don't have to compete in a competition to be fit or healthy. And here's a real shocker even though I won my class I was far from healthy. Looking back I was not healthy, physically or emotionally. The shit that I did to my body to get to that level of leanness was ridiculous. Depleting water, diuretics, minimal calories, working out too much, binging, losing my cycle (yes this happened throughout and it is NOT NORMAL idgaf what anyone says). Everyone's idea of fitness and health is different. Everyone's portrayal of health and fitness is different and not always what it seems. Do what makes you feel good and what makes sense in your head. Again, RESEARCH! I will never regret my experience competing, hell, I just may do it again but my mind and body are in a different place now and never will I allow my health to be second over a piece of plastic. Stay true to your self. If you are competing or thinking of competing please research! Ask questions, if it doesn't jive with you then it's probably not good a good thing.

Don't be afraid to try something new! Face your fears and doubts and get out of that zone you call comfortable. I had always wanted to do an aerial class but was so scared. What if I suck? What if I can't keep up, I'll never be flexible like that, I could never hold my self in the air for over a minute blah blah blah a bunch of shit that I was making up in my head. I do that a lot! More than I would like to admit and it's definitely something I am working on and trying to change. Things I've found, worrying gets you NOWHERE! It just makes you stress yourself out over dumb shit. Instead go for it! If it makes you uncomfortable or scares you then it's probably something worth pursuing. One day you will look back and say "why was I such a wiener about that?" True story πŸ™‹πŸΌnow I'm like let me learn all the drops! Haha

Good Morning! Been a little MIA lately was sick all last week 🀧 my workouts were very hit and miss but I am back at it today πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ I do love working out but when I'm sick or not feeling πŸ’― I will skip my workout and guess what? That's ok! Better to not workout than to go not feeling your best and end up injuring yourself. Been practicing my head stands πŸ™ƒ Was never able to hold it for any length of time but I've been practicing a little after my work outs. It's not the most perfect but I'm just getting started 😏 Aerial has really helped build my core strength up and has taught me how to balance my body. I could never do this 5 months ago. The body is an amazing thing if you teach it something it will learn and adapt.

This week I start my mini cut for my vacation/honeymoon in November 🌴 I'm already super happy with how my reverse diet went and love where I'm sitting at physique wise. The fact that I can already see some definition has me extremely excited of what's to come! The body is sooooo amazing and it can do magnificent things if you take care of it and treat it right πŸ’ͺ🏼 This morning was shoulders and a little chest #happyhumpday friends!
