Wharariki Beach, New Zealand by Aland de Wit

I spent three evenings on Wharariki Beach in New Zealand. It's a stunning beach for photography at Farewell Spit in the north of the South Island.
This is a sunset capture. The tide was going out just on time to get a bit more sand and reflections. The sun sets on the left side behind me but was... http://lp-mag.com/g2a3

Zabriskie Badlands, Death Valley, California, USA by Scott Rubey

Conditions weren't quite coming together for the sunrise shoot I'd had in mind on this particular morning in Death Valley, so I made the quick 5-minute drive from my campsite up to Zabriskie Point.
I loved the interplay of lines and colors and had fun picking details out with my tele lens after... http://lp-mag.com/1bkn
