Dayummm this weekend was the death of me! Filled with donuts galore, too much chocolate, candy, ice cream, pancakes, popcorn, cheesey breads, plane food, and just such blah food I woke up this morning feeling so nasty!! For some reason day after day max and I ate everything under the sun that should be on the “avoid/eat sparingly” list, and lots of it haha moments like these remind me why I have gradually shifted my way of eating over the years, coz I just FEEL so much better!! So we are off to restock on some local goods at the fruit stand and head to Costco to get the bulk of things to start off the week. Think I’m gonna try stick to some of the #21earthydays checkpoints to stay on track u got some goals brewing for the week that u r attacking head on? Or that I should try? Taking best tips for sugar addictions below also

Food talk: THE SNACK LIFE Grab & Go style ♀️♀️
We all about that life in our fam ha. Life gets busy, and routine doesn’t go so well as much as we try so we are often eating on the go. I TRY to stick to Whole Foods as much as possible to fuel the fun- it’s usually fruit of some sort, smoothies in a jar, nuts and wholesome bars, or carrots and dip. I forget how good healthy food can taste when it’s done simple and right! We tried @perfectbar quite a while ago after a friends suggestion and loooved them! They are SO good!! They’re made from nutrient dense organic Whole Foods too so a good source of vitamins and minerals on the go + good option for the keiki! And happy to share their latest walnut brownie one which is the bomb!! A chocolate bar fix but with 10g plant based protein. trust me I love my chocolate so I don’t compare things lightly ha. Part of our routine (when we decide to try have routine haha) we often take a bike ride to this fruit stand to get some deep fried bananas for our naughty side and fresh bananas for our healthy side ha. Balance right! Love the lil ladies here too always giving roca an extra freebie
“Remember when you wanted what you currently have!” saw that quote on a friends story today (mahalos @itscaseyevans ) and I felt overwhelmed with gratitude reading it realizing how true the statement was for me. I have this guy to thank for making some of my wildest dreams come true!! ♀️ life has it’s wild moments for sure, but this man provides a life I honestly dreamed of. So a lil update.. I got my results back from the @helixdnastore test I did a few weeks ago! And it’s soooo interesting and fun to read through. still going through the details of it all but to name a couple so far-well my genotype generally isn’t known to excel in sprinting, so I like to think that explains why I came almost last in high school but my genotype is very common to have high sensitivity to carbs, specifically refined carbs, which gives me even more motive and need to cut back on the candy and ice cream haha. I’m yet to read through a bunch of other results like my relation to endurance exercise and also recovery. Today was a gooooood day, even if nap time was short Worked out early, did some baby bike riding (quite the comic show haha but he’s learning to pedal now, he’s growing up ), then he was begging for a bike ride & it was a beaut day so we decided to get adventurous with a bike ride to NS, pit stops at the fruit stand and a bomb acai bowl at @haleiwabowls (they have a truck parked by pipe ), followed by beach hangs just before it started to rain love the moments when we pinch ourselves and realize life is still so good to us whatever may come, sometimes we gotta make a little effort to step into it more #naturesplayground#bikerides#rocamoonadventures .

Q&A TIME I’ve had quite a few questions about @barre3 since I have been doing the #b3allin program this month. And can’t believe there is only 2 days left!!! Boy time flies!! I have loved adding this variety into my workout regime and especially the recipes!! It’s also good for the times I have my son at home but am feeling lazy to do “jumpy” around workouts and just wanna be mellow but still get a gooood sweat + burn! Anyway feel free to ask anything in the comments, even if it’s completely unrelated to this vid haha no worries!!

I often wonder what I did with all my time before this lil coconut... learning to balance things is a constant in life, I think that probably goes for everyone. But MAKING time has really been key.. along with dumping all responsibilities and heading to the ocean
