This is Carl He is an amazing person. This is a bike gifted to us to hand out to someone in need of help with transportation. Carl has had his past 6 bikes stolen - we hope he can hang on to this one. Join us in prayer for Carl protection while he is having to live on the streets. And pray he finds an inside place of living real soon.
Someone asked us the other day "What can I do to help? I am not comfortable going out on the streets and talking to people, but want to help the homeless." When we were answering it occurred to us we need help in many areas.
Maybe one of these speaks to your heart and can help us fulfill a need * have a knowledge and passion for the homeless as well as an understanding of Facebook. We would love for someone to help us do the weekly posts. * gather toiletries and put them in the bags for us * send out thank you cards for us * help us work festivals that do the fundraising * tag the new bracelets that come in
We need your help. God has blessed our little ministry from the moment we started. And we are so utterly thankful!! But it's getting to be bigger than we can do ourselves. Maybe you have a child that needs volunteer hours logged for school. Maybe you have a couple days off a week and looking to fill your time.
All help is much appreciated and doing one thing for the ministry is just as important as going out on the streets personally.
Please PM if there is something you would like to get more involved in

These 3 girls and their hearts are amazing!! Last night we had the pleasure to talk with these lovely ladies and how we can join forces to help our community.
We are so grateful for their huge hearts and talents that they want to share with us.
Khloe, Isabella, and Lilly are from The Girl Scouts and will be helping us with the DK Community Womens Conference coming up in Nov as well as helping us with collecting toiletries for our outings. Their hearts are so big - we are so lucky to be a part of their mission to love on the community!! Thank you young ladies and leaders for what you do!!
We started our adventure of The Umbrella Women with this song - it was our first post - it was the song that made us get up and do something.
Last night we got to gift one of our umbrellas to him!! Later in the concert Matthew talked about Jeremiah 29:11 and the meaning that verse has to him. So I was meant to be - seems we have come to full circle with our music man - he gifted us with the song - and we gift him with an umbrella with that verse on the inside
Such an amazing concert - his songs bring so much strength, encouragement, and inspires you to do more @matthewjwest - Do Something
I’m so tired of talking about
How we are God’s hands and feet
But it’s easier to say than to be
Live like angels of apathy who tell ourselves
It’s alright, “somebody else will do something”
Well, I don’t know about you
But I’m sick and tired of life with no desire
I don’t want a flame, I want a fire and
I wanna be the one who stands up and says
“I’m gonna do something”
