That time I rode with my buddy to San Fran from Vancouver BC in 2 days...then stayed for 2 days and rode back in 2 days. It was amazing! We rode the pacific coastal hwy as far as we could. Can’t wait for more adventure this year!
Today’s #buellstory is about @tattdmotor_mom she lives in Phoenix Arizona.
This is my first big power bike. I Tried a everything else and I finally found my dream bike. Being a girl, I turn heads on this bike especially with the roar it produces. Even though I still show attention to my ninja (that was my first bike) my ultimate number 1 bike is by Buell.
This is a beauty 1125cr belonging to @leidens_ragnars_sons and this is his Buell story.
I am a French motorcyclist, and I ride all over France with my 1125! It is my 3th Buell and I adore it as a motorcycle! This year I am going to go to ride in Ireland and in Germany to discover the potential of this motorcycle!
So I finally got around to the footage of unpacking my new stands. For $130 for front and rear I thought for sure I was buying garbage. Turns out, they work really well. Only complaint, the instructions sent were for the wrong product. Also, what do you think of my opener graphic thingy?
Let’s talk levers for a second here. What are you running? I bought some knock off ones off eBay once and ended up in full brake lockup around a corner. These CRG’s on @sleipner86 Firebolt are something I’d consider for my XB for sure. This baby is being ridden through Norway this year for some amazing adventures! Check out his feed to follow along.
The boys are getting new 8 piston brakes, stand by for some install videos quick shoutout to @st.paulhd for hooking me up with parts and for discounting shipping because I didn’t order the stuff at the same time. Thanks guys!
Now people drop #relationshipgoals all the time....but for realz:
They currently own the xb12r, the xb12ss the EBR1190sx and an Aprilia rxv550
Their story: it's a 2006 XB12R and my 4th bike. My husband bought it back in 2010 when it had 600 miles on it. It was primarily his bike but I found it and convinced him to buy it. Maybe I knew it'd eventually be mine. It was black and gold but for the wedding I bought white plastics. After all these years and 22k miles later it's still in amazing shape and runs strong. It's a great bike with a ton of sentimental value to me. Even if the motor blows I'll never sell it Me? Well I started learning to ride on my father's bike in 2008. It was a Yamaha V Star 650. Then I met my husband who had a Harley. I got my license in 2010 and dreamt about owning a Buell. My first bike was a Suzuki, next a Honda then a Buell Blast. Actually no I then bought a Lightning SS which was too tall for me. After a month I dropped it so my husband traded me the Firebolt for it. And that's how the xb12r became mine... Lol so it's actually technically my 5th bike @notoriousbunny
Let’s talk about broken studs for a second here.
What are you using and how are you doing it? I’ve tried welding a nut on the end (didn’t work for me). I’ve tried a carbide drill bit (didn’t work for me). The only thing that worked was a masonry drill bit which ended up destroying my head, had to re-weld, drill and cut new threads.

I have some South African Buell love for you all today. This is @garyknoetze and his 1125 Firebolt (no that isn’t a real thing, he just liked the styling of the Firebolt but the power of the 1125). Gary is a leader in the Buell community and a huge supporter of the Buell riders in South Africa. Be like Gary, he’s awesome.
There isn’t too many Buell’s in the world and even less lady Bueller’s. This is @mzbuell and this her story.
"My best friend Juz always said a Buell lightning was the perfect bike for me, and I had no idea what he was going on about. I was such a novice rider and was just riding around with the boys on Harleys, on my little VTR250. After he passed away, I attained my full license and went on the hunt for an upright V-Twin. I just happened to stumble across a cheap 2003 Buell XB9s, all my friends were telling me to buy it. Still had no idea what I was doing... 8 and a half hours drive up North later, I laid eyes on my new partner in crime. I handed over my cash.
On my first ride my heart was pumping so hard I thought it would explode out of my chest. I was pretty nervous. But once we got out to some sweeping corners and out of the traffic, I fell in love and the smile on my face told it all. I soon after understood why my mate thought it was such a perfect match for me! I had major issues with my crankshaft and engine, and my XB9s (Gumby) we went into the workshop for quite some time. I was back riding my little 250. I couldn't wait any longer to ride a Buell. So then I decided I better go buy another one . I flew myself interstate as I found a 2007 XB9sx. Damn the passion now has me wanting more of the other models! Hooked for life! Its also teaching me a few things on the tools...
This bike belongs to @giorgios_mixailidis. He’s from Greece.
His riding plans for the year are to ride from his hometown (Hellas) through Romania, Ukraine and Chernobyl to Lithuania.
His bike has many mods including an exhaust that he fabricated himself.
Who wants to join him??? Sounds like an epic ride!
Alright ladies and gents. It’s time to exert massive peer pressure. @g0rilla6 swapped his BMW R9T for his friends buell to do a quick sprint around downtown Charleston and snap some photos. His words “The powerband makes you want to flick the throttle at every chance, and the sound reassures you that you're up to no good.” @g0rilla6 you need to buy a Buell! And amazing picture btw.
